Some time in late May 2020, John Foale will be driving this vintage tractor from John O’Groats to Land’s End, stopping at various agricultural shows and rallies, to raise money for the Air Ambulance. He’s not quite sure how long it will take but he does intend to finish at the Royal Cornwall Show, which is on 4th to 6th of June.

The project is being launched at the Aveton Gifford Classic Car Show on Sunday 25th August 2019, where you can see the 40 year-old tractor and talk to John. It does, of course, need a lot of work to get it to a condition where it can travel nearly a 1,000 miles and John will be labouring hard to get it there. In fact, when he’s finished, it will look and feel like a completely different vehicle.

Developments on The Tractor Run will be posted here as we get them. These will include: sponsors, supporters, progress on the tractor and details of the journey. A Facebook page is also being developed and, during The Run, daily progress will be reported on Twitter.
